If you’re reading this, I'm sure you’ve done one or all of the above, so congratulations!! You qualify to attend JamRock 2026!
If this is your first time, you’re in for a treat. Nothing screams adrenaline more than trying a new route and touching the metal bar when you’re done, meeting fellow climbers who are equally as excited about climbing as you are. This is cool whether you’re new at climbing or if you’re an avid climber.
Here’s what you need to know about JamRock: It’s an annual event (and the only one of its kind in the 254). The essence of JamRock is to introduce new climbers to the community, challenge expert climbers (both kids and adults), meet a ton of different people, and get chalked up! The routes are new, and the BlueSky team is there to offer support and take cool pictures for you to remember.
At this point, I bet you’re asking, “Where do I sign up already?” We’ve got you! But first, here are some details:
The event runs from 1:00–5:30 PM on March 22.
The cost between now and the 16th of March is 3,000 Ksh, after which it will increase to 4,000 Ksh.
P.S. On the day of the event, you get a JamRock t-shirt, a guest pass to come and climb another time, and a BlueSky sticker
P.P.S. We’ll have a table full of climbing gear and adventure prizes, and the top climbers in each category get to pick what they want.
