Overview:
The Worship Leader will serve under the leadership of Full-time and Seasonal BlueSky staff who are experienced, professional, and faithfully following Jesus in their lives.
The camp worship leader primary role will be to create a meaningful and engaging worship environment where campers and staff can encounter God through music, prayer and reflection. They set the spiritual tone for the camp, using songs and moments of worship to point hearts towards Christ. It is an opportunity for them to grow in their personal faith, strengthen character through serving others, develop leadership and professional skills, and build positive friendships with peers.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Spiritual Life Coordinator (Camp Pastor) and Programs Manager to create Christ-centered & biblically sound spiritual development programs , camp-wide devotionals/messages and elements of worship. 
- Plan,lead worship sessions for the whole camp that align with the camp theme. 
- Coordinate with support volunteers on rehearsals times and schedule. 
- Work in collaboration with the SLC to give pastoral care support to the whole camp. 
- Participate in camp wide activities to help build relationships with campers and staff. 
- Assist with staff training/orientation and debrief. 
- Lead worship at key camp moments such as summit fire, morning and evening devotion times. - Qualifications:
- A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis. 
- Heart for the nations with proven spiritual leadership experience. 
- Passion for adventure and the outdoors, along with a deep commitment to Christian faith and value 
- You must be aged 19 years and above. 
- Strong musical ability. ( Guitar, Keyboard and Vocals). 
- Must be creative and flexible to adapt to different camp settings. 
- Must have a genuine interest in promoting a positive, safe, and fun environment for children. 
- Profound knowledge and understanding of the Christian Faith. 
- A deep personal spirituality and commitment to their own spiritual journey. 
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey spiritual and emotional support, offer counseling, and facilitate meaningful conversations. 
- Strong Leadership skills and ability to engage a large group. 
- Sensitivity and competence in serving individuals from diverse cultural, religious, and spiritual backgrounds. 
- Ability to provide emotional and spiritual support during times of crisis, illness, grief, or other difficult life situations. - Requirements:
- Commitment to the BlueSky Vision: Purpose, Mission, and Core Values. 
- Willingness to commit for at least 3 weeks (1 staff training week and 2 Camp sessions)
